Disruption expected on Bristol bus services 16 to 19 September

First Bus driver strike action is planned on Tuesday 16 to Friday 19 September 2025. The strike action may disrupt any travel plans you have using First Bus Services during this time.

First Bus has confirmed there will be a much lower level of service during the period, with more than 20 services due to be affected as a result of the action. 

Services in Bath and North East Somerset, Wells, Weston-super-Mare and the wider North Somerset area will continue to operate and are not impacted by industrial action. The full Metrobus network will operate, along with buses between Thornbury and Bristol and Yate and Bristol.
