We are proud to host a number of infrastructures which are funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). NIHR infrastructure funds skilled staff who provide expertise in design, planning, set-up, delivery and analysis of high-quality research. Find out more about our hosted NIHR infrastructures below:

• NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West (NIHR ARC West) works with partner organisations, including the NHS, local authorities and universities, to conduct applied health research and implement research evidence.
• NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR Bristol BRC) is a partnership between University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Bristol. BRCs conduct innovative translational medical science research.
• NIHR Bristol Clinical Research Facility (NIHR Bristol CRF) is a new facility for delivery of high intensity clinical research trials, as well as earlier stage experimental research. 
• NIHR Clinical Research Network West of England (NIHR CRN) facilitates delivery of clinical research in NHS and social care in the region.
