Live training exercise with Avon Fire and Rescue Service at Bristol Royal Infirmary helipad

On Thursday 20 April 2023, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, UHBW staff will be taking part in a live training exercise with Avon Fire & Rescue Service.

The exercise is to run through processes and plans in the event of a fire on the rooftop helipad of the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

There will be a large emergency service presence at the BRI, Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, Terrell Street Ward Block and Bristol Heart Institute during the training.

While the helipad will be closed for the duration of the exercise, it will not impact on any hospital or emergency services.
