UHBW CEO appointed Visiting Professor at UWE Bristol

Eugine Yafele, Chief Executive of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) has been appointed a Visiting Professor for the College of Health, Science and Society at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol.  

Eugine said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as Visiting Professor at UWE Bristol. This new role reflects the growing importance of integrated working across our health and education partners in the region. The education and development of our staff is key to the successful future of our health organisations, and I look forward to being involved in a whole range of research and development initiatives, including the development of the new Integrated Care Academy.” 

Professor Marc Griffiths, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean for the College of Health, Science and Society, said: “As a Visiting Professor, Eugine will bring his experience and expertise from previous senior positions to help grow and develop new and innovative types of professionals, at all levels, along with creating opportunities for new research projects and innovative approaches towards service redesign and evaluation. UHBW will also be a founding member of the new Integrated Care Academy that is being developed at UWE Bristol.”
